Cursed Cangaceiro

This piece represents resilience.

The character is a cangaceiro cursed by an “evil eye,” slowly being transformed into a cactus. At first glance, his fate seems inevitable — to become part of the harsh vegetation of the caatinga.

In a desperate search for a cure, he steals religious artifacts, hoping to break the curse. By his side are his companions: a loyal kitten and a hybrid between an anteater and an armadillo — the “tatumandua.”
